So I just found out that Chipper may have a condition called upward fixation of the patella or locked stifle. I don't know if I'll be able to use him or not for showing, depending on if that's indeed the diagnosis or not. We can't walk him or drive him for a least a week and then see how he is. I was so excited that I was starting to work with him early this year, to get a head start! Why, oh, why is this year not going well so far in the horsey world?
I am tired of saying that I am sorry. This is just too much. Leah, why is your horsey world falling apart? I hope Chipper heals, and the stifle problem goes away. If the diagnos is correct, his gaits will be changed forever. Ick. :( I don't like sad faces. Give me something I can :) about!!!
